The fluid should taste sweet if it has been replaced............just kidding!!!!! Please don't taste it.

Seems like the "stealership" f'ed up again, and you caught them.

The fluid can be tricky to tell good from bad, that is why I use ATE Super Blue for both the brake and clutch systems. When fresh, it is bright blue. As it ages and picks up contaminates, it gets brownish (like yours was). When flushed again the next time, the color change indicates fresh fluid in the system again. On top of that......ATE has higher wet and dry boiling points than OEM, so your not as likely to get a soft pedal when "working" the system (applies more to the brakes/heat).

The DIY is really simple, and you watched them flush it so next time do it yourself.

my gears stick in third sometimes..could i have the same problem?
