clutch fluid - ATE Super Blue?

Bottom line: there is no advantage to using a DOT4 racing-type fluid in the clutch. Probably there is no disadvantage either, though I would be a little concerned that if you left it in there a long time (more than a year or so) it might lead to increased corrosion.
If you flush your brake fluid every year (or more often) and you want to use the left-over fluid to flush the clutch as well, it's probably fine and dandy. If you are leaving the clutch fluid in for a couple of years, I'm actually more comfortable with using the Honda DOT3 fluid.

For some weird reason, my clutch fluid gets dirty about every few months. I just use an eye-dropper to siphon the fluid, wipe the reservoir with a dust free cloth and fill it up with DOT 3 brake fluid. Since there's no heat, and I do it fairly often, buying the expensive stuff if no need. All you need is about 4 ounces or less, so buy the small container.
MAKE SURE YOU PUT A TOWEL ALL AROUND THE CLUTCH RESEVIOR. ONE MISTAKE AND THAT WILL BE A HEARTBREAKER.
I do notice a difference for sure after it's done.
