Clutch Engaugement Question from a new owner
Hello,
I have questions about the normal clutch engagement point on an S2000. It seems that the clutch engauges very high compared to the other cars I have owned. On mine, I would say that within a half inch to an inch of travel while pushing the clutch in will enguage the unit. Is this typical on these cars or is mine on it's way out? There is not slipage at all at this point. My only concern is where it is currently engauging at?
Thanks!

It sounds like you have purchased a used S2000 and someone has adjusted the clutch pedal play.
I adjusted my clutch pedal free play to move the engagement point higher off the floor. I did this on mine to get more travel of the clutch disk, so I would be less likely to have the transmission grind second gear and it helped a lot.
It's very easy to adjust the free play to move the engagement point.
