Is there a DIY on this? I'd like to do this but don't want to mess anything up.
Here are 2 good ones. I used the first link to do my.
Its rather simple.
But dont forget to check out the video i posted early...Just scroll back up.

Link 1 - DIY (Best one)
Link 2 - DIY

Tbh none of them are helping me.

I loosen the 12mm nut, I rotate the rod until I have no freeplay anymore (actually that is not possible. I turn it until I have the longest possible rod-way from the clutchpedal to the MC, still there is freeplay.. but only a little bit. I fix the 12mm nut again. Now the clutch pedal is a lot higher than the other pedals, still a little freeplay, still grinding.

I can either turn the rod INTO the MC or OUTSIDE of the MC.

if you are simply just loosening the nut and rotating the rod that is just purely for adjustment. not free play.

Edited.

I did that.

I pressed the clutch inside to get close to the point where i feel "resistance". I then wanted to turn the rod until it was just a little bit before the resistance point. But that didn't completely work since the rod was already nearly screwed out of the clutch pedal. So I screwed the rod as far as I could. I then let go of the clutch pedal and the freeplay was eliminated by 50%.

So there is still freeplay, the 2nd gear still is grinding. The clutch pedal at the same time is a lot higher than the other pedals.

i would suggest re doing it.

without pressing the clutch loosen the 12mm nut. twist the rod so you pull the pedal down to the desired height. in your case since the rod is almost out of the pedal that is why its so high. do you want to have no free play at all?

another question, is have you change out your clutch fluid lately? this would have been the first think i have checked. bad clutch fluid will cause improper engagement and disengagement too. which could result in grinding gears. i would go as far as bleeding the system, which isnt that hard.

already changed the clutch fluid. Yes I want to go for zero freeplay but no chance so far.

Take a picture of your pedal, and label the adjustments you made. When adjusting the rod it doesnt adjust the pedal's height. Dont apply any pressure to the pedal while doing the adjustment, just simply loosen the 12mm nut and hand spin the rod into the cylinder. Once done pedal should feel firm from top to bottom and clutch engagement would be more up top. Now, if there is still free play once done then either your slave is bad or you need re bleed your line.
