I've burnt my clutch a couple of times and my clutch engagement point seems way out of wack. And pedal feels a lot softer.
I remember it engaging with the pedal half way depressed.
And now I almost have to take my foot off to get it fully engaged.
Is there anything I can do to improve the pedal feel or to adjust the play?
Or am I going to need a new clutch in the near future?

You may have glazed the friction material. Drive it "normal" for a few days and see if it gets better. If not, try a clutch fluid change first. Then determine if the clutch is actually slipping. If it is, you'll need a clutch job. If it isn't then try this:
