Clutch engagement not smooth
I have a civic b16a turbo with a centerforce dual friction clutch. When I engage the clutch with a slight differential in flywheel to pressure-plate speed, I have no problems. Now take my s2000, even with a slightly different flywheel to pressure-plate speed, I hear an old sound. Almost as if the release bearing is worn out. This car has less then 5000k. The strange thing is, there is no sound when I completely dis-engage the clutch. Is this normal?

the car is known to have a noisy throwout bearing straight from the factory. it kind of sounds like a low-tone grinding noise right before you fully let go of the clutch in 1st, right?
when i first bought the car i was worried to, but im just relieved that its normal. i have driven many s2000's at my job and they all do the same thing. i just hope we're talking about the same problem...
