Thanks again guys. I will take the car to the dealership tomorrow.
A friend of mine who is not a mechanic mentioned the possibility of air getting in a line with the clutch fluid. This sounds along the lines of what slipstream444 and RACER have been saying. So I will see if a bleeding will fix the problem.

It may not necessarily be air, but could also be old (dirt and water saturated) fluid and/or bad seals or corrosion. That's the simple side of the possible culprits. Take it one step at a time going from the most simple to the most complex (least expensive to most expensive ... unless you have more cash than time to spend). That's the best and most logical process to solve a problem. It just takes a little more patience ... more easily said than done.
I've heard endless stories of people jumping off of the deep end only to find the problem to be a $25.00 fix after spending $2500.
Don't get overly excited though, you may be blessed with the kind of luck I've grown accustomed to. Only I smile regardless, because I know I'm the source of most of my own misery.

If the clutch does not hold ("It does hold if I WOT to redline") it is not the linkage or hydraulic components. You can bleed it forever and not change the friction needed to transmit power.

After replacing the master and slave cylinder the clutch pedal has pressure once again. However, the friction point is almost near the top of the pedal now instead of on the floor. I am going to have to get used to the new friction point, it feels very odd.
Thanks again for everyone's help.
