Just a thought. The clutch pedal has an adjustment, did you move the screw around before, while, or after the clutch replacement? If that screw is adjusted to far inward the clutch will stay engaged.

By inward what exactly do you mean. I have it adjusted now so that it is in the master almost all the way. Do you know what I mean?

Inward as the screw being rotated right so it tightens. I dont know what you mean, the adjustment I am talking about is inside the car. There is a screw that pushes against the arm of the clutch pedal. If you did not adjust it, dont mess with it. Just thought you may have.

Well I have spent some time with this now and got alot better pedal feel along with at least 3/4" movement on the clutch fork and still no disengagement. There must be another problem here.

Lot of guys bend the disc during the installation by hanging the tranny off the disc, and horsing it around to get the pilot shaft of the tranny input engaged. The cocked disc splines now drag and so does the disc as it has a big wobble back and forth between the pp and flywheel. Hope that it's not your prob too as you'll need new disc.
I've seen bad new ones too. Usually cheap aftermarket though.

We'll see that could be me as I was trying to muscle it on there without using a jack as it seemed to work better for me.
