I'm pretty sure that if you order an AP1 clutch from ACT it will be the same clutch for all years AP1's (correct me if I'm wrong), same as the updated Honda OEM (instead of '00-'01 and '02+).
As far as eliminating the buzz with and ACT... 50/50 chance. Some owners report no vibration with various aftermarket clutches, others do. It's a chance you'll be taking.
Here's something else to consider: check your motor mounts. They all go to crap but for some reason it's not a well-known problem. Mine were snapped in half and was causing vibrations all over accel and decel which I didn't really noticed until I changed them. I'm sure that if your mounts are bad then the clutch buzz it being amplified by them. I have to wonder how many people reporting clutch buzz actually just had bad motor mounts...

Do a search for ACT Clutch Buzz
I just had (yesterday) the ACT Pressure Plate, Clutch and lightened flywheel installed in my AP1 - the buzz is insane - I thought my car was fried - apparently the ACT kit with an AP2 OEM disc is your best bet.

My clutch rattled and buzzed like a Yugo at 5 years/35k miles. I replaced the clutch disk with an updated OEM disk and now 3 years and 22k miles later it still sounds fine,

The disc that used to be provided with the ACT was quiet, apparently it's not as quiet now.
The OEM 02-09 disc is the quietest available, and has worked fine with the 1st generation of ACT Street pressure plates.
The OEM discs in all cars built after 01 are much quieter under decel than the original 00-01 disc, if you have a later car that has a extremely loud buzz under decel you don't have a OEM disc installed.
