I have the opposite opinion: I didn't spend 30k to own a car that rattles and buzzes like the worst crap GM ever slapped together in their darkest days.
I replaced the clutch disk at 35k miles, and no one has asked, "What's WRONG with your car?" since.

spring resonance? if you can still hear it then obviously your car isn't loud enough
I have it too, to some it might be embarassing. I just don't really give a shyt. I do a Jon Travolta on my pedals all day long, that faint buzzing I hear is absolutely negligeble to me.
One day it'll be time for a new clutch anyway ...unless it's a garage queen, in that case clutch buzz might outlive you

When I replaced my clutch disk, the car only had 35k miles (but 5 years old) and I'm generally pretty easy on the equipment, so I only replaced the disk. 5 years and 30k miles later, I'm satisfied with that decision.
You have to make the call based on your mileage and driving style: if replacing only the disk works out for you, you save some money; if some other clutch part you didn't replace fails, you get to do (or pay someone else to do) all the labor over again. You pay your money and take your chances.

I replaced my clutch disc/pressure plate/bearings with a brand new OEM clutch kit and after about a thousand miles my clutch buzz came back.
Is it possible that in 2010 I still somehow managed to get an old clutch kit that didn't have the upgraded disc yet!?!?
I'm very disappointed, I put in a new clutch to get rid of this annoying buzz and now it has come back...
