Default clutch acting strangely

i have a 2000 honda s2000 with 50,000 original miles. the clutch has been acting a little weird. it started about 2 miles ago. when i engage the clutch and give it gas, i hear the clutch kind of like chattering sound like something is grinding. and i also noticed that i have to take my foot about 90% off the clutch in order for it to engage. it use to engage when i took my foot of the clutch at around 75%. i have checked the fluids and they are good. the car has a act clutch and act pressure plate. any suggestions would be appreciated.

How old is the clutch? Could be time for a new one.

The "clattering" is probably the throw out bearing (Or "release bearing". Most aftermarket clutch parts are going to make a little more noise. One thing you can do is pull the slave cylinder out and regrease the slave and the insides of the clutch fork. This may quiet things up down there.

Diagram

This will help you some. The slave cylinder is on the side of the transmission on the drivers side and is mounted on by 2 12mm bolts. After you pull the bolts out you can pull it out of its rubber cover and then pull the rubber boot (named release fork boot in the diagram) out of the transmission and there you'll be able to see some of the clutch and clutch release fork. Pull out the clutch release fork as much as you can and grease it thoroughly and then push it back into place.

Grease points

Ok this is what I was originally looking for. This shows there to grease the clutch fork. If you can I would try using WD40 with the little straw and spraying some on the inside of the release bearing if you can.
