Clunky Shifts - Revisted with updates
#11
I have a 2005 with 22k when i bought it. I noticed the same thing, especially when its cold.I usually take it easy on it when its cold.Higher rpms do help. I was always shifting around 3-4k and i could feel a slight clunk, like as if something is in the way of the shift from going in smoothly. This was more with second and third gear for me.Sometimes when you notice it,you will instinctively want to try to shift slower, then the clunky ness fells more apparent. Just shift slightly faster but of course don't jam it into gear.usually rpms from 4.5k-5.5 k help for me.
