It could be a number of issues. Your clutch could be dragging or your transmission could be sticking in gear. If a transmission fluid change doesn't help at all I'm willing to guess it's not the transmission.

But then again this is only a guess since I have not driven your car.

His guesses are pretty accurate. He never drove my car either. Can you imagine the logistics for that?
