Well...I was able to drive home yesterday...a total of 570 miles...got 30mpg...but didn't get rid of the noise...
hondamanwill-
are you pretty confident that if I do that procedure, I should get rid of the noise? do you think that it would be the same problem being able to "feel the click" in the shift knob? If so, I'll probably be trying it in the next week or so...if not, then I just need to keep findout whats wrong with it...

Do the spindle nut replacement and re-torque to 220 lb-ft. If that works, problem solved! If not, it may be the CV joints that, when worn, will clunk like that at slow speeds.

ok cool, sounds good, and sounds like I could tackle this myself...so I'll try this once I get home...I shouldn't have a problem driving this car home, should I...
home being from Prescott AZ, to San Luis Obispo CA...about 560miles or so
cause it only makes the noise in neutral, if its in gear its perfectly fine

ok...cool, I'll be trying this out early next week...I'm just going to get myself another pair of jackstands, so I have four total, and have the whole car up...it just feels safer that way, 4 stands and a jack holding it up...I may even take off the CV joints just to check them out, I also want to change my diff fluid and tranny fluid, since that was done last year...and possible the coolant too...
I drive the car hard, so I like to give her lots of good maintaince...
thanks for the help, I'll try that stuff out...if it works, awesome...if not...then I'll try something else, but either way, I'll get back to this thread and let you guys know how everything went...
thanks again,
Eric

Ok...so I got new spindle nuts...didn't get the Silicon Grease though cause the parts guy didn't know what DC111 was...
anyway, I got the spindle nuts off...wasn't too bad, but I CAN NOT get the ball joint out of the lower control arm...it just will not come out...any suggestions, am I doing something wrong?

Use a 2 jaw puller, or tie rod puller, to break it loose. It's held by a taper. Do NOT use a fork style ball joint removal tool.
I'll confirm with others here that torque is 220 ft-lbs (updated as per TSB).
