Cluch Issues!
Hey Guys, I recently bought my S (about 1 month ago) and now am feeling issues with my clutch. It has 51k and I know that's usually soon for the clutch to go but who knows how the previous owner drove it. When I'm pressing the clutch in and out, I'm feeling like a "scraping" kind of feel through the pedal, feel like a loss in power and last night started to squeak. If anyone has had this experience let me know what it was. Thanks in advance

Idk what the loss in power is all about, but the rest sounds like a slave cylinder or clutch pedal that needs lubrication.

This is a bit tricky, but while you're lubing the slave cylinder, you can also pop out the release fork from the trans and lube the contact points of the release fork and bearing with some urea grease.

When in doubt, get your old clutch fluid out. I highly doubt its been changed and it could or could not be contributing to your problem. However, it is a cheap step to ensure that you at least have proper fluid. These cars are ROUGH on clutch fluid. Terrible actually, not sure why. Plenty of DIY's on this board.
