Upper or lower?
Really, you just need the torque specs.
And if you're talking about the upper, make sure you unbolt the ABS sensor and tuck it safely away. Those things are fragile.
You could probably find a DIY with pictures by searching on the site, too.

Know what a ball joint looks like? like a thick conical bolt with thread on the upper half, right?
Well, I disconnect ball joints by banging the part that goes around the thick conical part with a nice 2lb hammer. works every time, even on my cargo van, as well as my s2000. Pre-load the arm first, with a lug wrench, or a lever of some kind, maybe a pry-bar, a giant trucker's screwdriver, or whatnot. Keep that tension on, and go to town with that hammer with short sharp blows. watch that boot!
