Default Clicking Sound Low Speed

Good evening/morning (depending on when you read this) fellow s2k'ers! I noticed today when pulling my s2000 around in the garage that when creeping and turning slowly there was a rough clicking noise that appeared to be emitted by the right rear wheel. Could this mean the axle needs to be torqued more aggressively (2002 AP1)? I have never heard this before and would love to see your opinions. My vehicle has been on Jack Stands for about a month and I decided to get her outand take her for a spin. Thanks for any and all feedback guys/gals. Have a wonderful day!

Thanks again

Try tapping brakes and see if noise changes.

The noise literally only makes a sound when creeping (less than 2mph). I will attempt it though, thanks for the suggestion!

Could be surface rust on rotors or wear sensor. These are heard, sometimes, at low speeds and in quiet places. Hope that it is one of these, as usually means no problems.

Could also be a rear hub. Jack the rear up and see if you have ANY play in the hubs.

Ok, got some more info that may be helpful! Thanks for all the feedback I greatly value your input guys. I jacked up both rear tires, absolutely no play. However, the left rear tire spins more freely than the right. Why would my right brake be a bit more draggy? Surface rust perhaps that would be cleaned off with a few miles of braking etc. It's not drastically different, I would say 25% more difficult to rotate right tire.

I had this on my previous S2000....it's the Axle Nut. Take a 33mm socket (I believe) to the back hub. I recommend removing the center cap and take a huge breaker bar and just go TAF (tight as f@#k) - I think it's suppose to be torqued at 300 lbs. +

The clicking will stop immediately after.

If you catch the tick early enough you can save the bearing. If it's been doing it for a while, you're gonna stop the noise, but only temporarily. Also it's a 36mm socket, get a shallow one just in case you gotta do the front as well.
