Clicking noise from rear suspesnison
hi guys its me again..
i have some clicking noise coming from the rear suspension when start in the first gear or reverse......and left turn.....
i m sure that the noise is coming from the rear driver side, (right hand drive)
also...when the car is heavy...like have a passenger or some stuff in the back...
the clicking become more obvious...so...
would u guys tell me wht is the problem..?thanks a lot

axle nut torque, cv joints, or bearings, or any combination of the three I guess. Axle nut torque being out of spec causes the clicking from reverse to first motion changes. Changes during a turn can be the bearing, clicking noise in general can be the cv joints. Start with the axle nut re-torque as it is the easiest one to tackle out of the three, and do a process of elimination. If you search the three issues separately there is lots of info on prior posts on these items as they are very common. I'm just in the process of checking my axle torque based on info I was just searching in recent days on this site.

i had the clicking noise from rear when starting in 1st and reverse.
i bought new axle nuts just for piece of mind, put some new grease on the FACE of the axle nut and retorqued to 220 ft-lb. solved my problems.
