Mine is similiar to your described noises, but i am leaning towards a valve adjustment + Timing chain tensioner. I can describe the noise as a sewing machine noise.
Thanks for the replies and help guys!

cthree,
I just read the thread you directed me to and it appears that the clicking preceedes the "shaking" while accelerating which i actually already have a bit of at around 75-80 when accelerating hard. I think you may be on to something!![wink.gif](https://www.s2ki.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Any signs I should look for that would point to a timing chain tensioner?

your symptoms are screaming driver side CV joint. Start there. There is a TSB which they may do free of charge but no guarantees. I had this problem way back and got it fixed by Honda who bought my CV joints from me and about which the TSB was written.

I just swaped my cv joints today and I have a brand new car
Anyways though I honestly don't think it is your cv joints, that is a vibration felt through the seats, not a ticking noise from the bay just my .002

I have the same ticking noise, I thought it was exhaust, so I took it into a shop, and it wasnt the exhaust.
While under acceleration I can hear a loud mechanical ticking if I am next to a wall. Perhaps tranny related? If I hold in the clutch and give it gas, I don't have the noise and the exhaust is tick and rattle free. It is coming from the front, the only noise I get from the back is a clunk, sorta like if my tranny had loose mounts or something, and when I put it into gear and step on the gas it moves and hits something.
I need to bring it in, no sense spending money on mods when mechanically the car isn't 100% to my liking.
