Default Clicking during right turn

I am experiencing a clicking noise during a hard right turn. Along with the noise, i have a slight vibration while driving. Nothing happens when i make a hard left turn. So this leads me to believe that my driver side inner cv joint is bad. If its something else feel free to post. Honda wanted 300 for one joint, are there cheaper places?

Change the ones you've got from side to side. If it's the CVs, this can resolve the problem.

I'll try that out. Why does that work?

Because you'll be using the reverse side of the CV drive bucket, which has about 20 miles on it instead of 50k.

Drive bucket on the top right. The part on the bottom right is the axle, which will stay on it's original side of the car. Take the buckets off only, and switch them from left to right.

Tool on left is used to break the ball joint.

I just recently went through the same thing. Hard right turns I had a clicking sound and somtimes heard a sound like brakes scraping only the scraping did not change whether I was braking or not. The sounds were inconsitant and always from the left side. It ended up being the left side wheel bearing.

im going to check that first because about two weeks ago my axle nut was loose, and i mean loose enough the rotor and wheel were able to move. So maybe the bearing get messed up during that.

That's entirely possible. Tighten up that nut and see if anything changes. If it does, then I think a new wheel bearing is in order. If nothing changes, then swap the 1/2 shafts.

Well, i got the hub off and the bearing is shot. There is close to a cm of movement in the bearing. So.... (let me know if more information is needed) what do i need to replace? just the bearing or is there more?
