Default Clicking at Driver Side Rear

Having an issue with a clicking noise from the rear of the car. A single click while moving forward, or reverse. I got some work done at Evasive Motorsports recently and was recommend axle spacers bcuz my car is lowered on coilovers.

I had a similar sound and foolishly waited until my axle snapped to get it addressed. Certainly check your axle nut after removing the wheel. Get it torqued to spec

There is a TSB floating around here somewhere about this. You should do a search. Same thing happened to me a while back. IIRC after unstaking and removing the axle nut you also need Dow Corning 111 grease to lube the hub (I think) reinstall the axle nut to a specific torque spec and restake the nut. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

I did do a search. Pretty much indicated what you said. I would like to do the work myself. What tools do i need to make the job easier. I don't mean to be lazy on my search. Just making sure i get a similar answer from you fine folks that have actually done the work and fixed this problem.

36mm socket, torque wrench that will go up to at least 221 lb/ft accurately.
