Clicking/cracking noise under driver's side frame
I checked search function and various places but couldn't find any similar topic....
Has anyone ever experienced a single click/crack noise (seems like it's coming from under the driver's side frame right under the door) after they just start moving the car forward, shifting into 1-3 gears even at very low speeds ? It happens just as you come off the clutch and put a bit of gas on it. It's a one time sound occuring just as you get it going and happens only 1-3 gears. It doesn't seem to do it in 4-6 gears but it's hard to hear at that point too.
Drive shaft ?
Frame cracked ?
Wheel bearing ?
wheel falling off ?
It's seemed to get worse over the past 2 years and I've had someone look into it but they said everything they can "see" looks fine....

Are you sure it isn't your CAT converter? The break internally and rattle a bit.

Also, a click/crack sound can come from your rear wheels if you have not done the TSB for the hub nut. I let mine go too long before I torqued mine and I may have ruined a wheel bearing.
