Click noise starting in first gear
Hey all i just picked up a year 2000 ap1
this doesnt happen everytime but sometimes i hear it
Im hearing like a clunk clunk noise right when i start moving in first gear
I often hear these noise when i only turn right
is this a normal sound that comes in ap1's?
or do i have a problem in my diff?
i also have some clutch buzz but ima bout to change my clutch to htg combo
which is ACT PP, OEM disc, ACT FLYWHEEL
these should eliminate the clutch buzz correct?
thanks in advance

I would back off the axle nut of each rear wheel then, re torque down to 220 foot pounds.
Drive the car and see/here if it goes away.
The other thing to do is make a left and a right turn while in neutral. If you here a clicking sound when in either turn then the LSD is causing the issue.

thank you so much puddy u are the man!
We have a sponsor on the sight selling a Spec stage 1 kit for $499 shipped
This is a very nice kit and all the clutch most S2000 owners will ever need even with low FI boost.
Spec offers a light PP option for a few bucks more that will save you the cost of having to buy a light flywheel
Good luck
