Hi all, going about a full overhaul of my newly aquired ap1. just had a question in regards to the afm.
i have a can of AFM cleaner at home (contact cleaner if you will), and i intend on cleaning the afm, and o2 sensors on my s2k (is there one or 2?). however when i took out the afm, it looks different to what the afm on my wrx looked like.
i believe this is because the s2k runs a map sensor? so is there an afm as such located elsewhere, or do i just clean the little map sensor thing connected to the throttlebody/intake pipe.
thanks all,
John

S2k uses a MAP. No AFM.
The MAP doesn't need much cleaning. You can clean the throttle body and the small air passage that leads from the throat to the MAP. Be prepared to replace the throttle body gasket.
