so im getting a ckp cel and i swapped out the crank position sensor with a friend and im still getting the code. i checked the the connection but it looks ok. how do i check if im getting signal? what do i do next? please help

it's in the service manual, i haven't the time to check it right now.

but i've gotten this cel a few times, and a quick disconnect and reconnect fixed it for me.
