Checking the oil in this car SUCKS!

I don't seem to be having the same problems expressed in this thread. I either check the car cold, or if the car was running, wait a few minutes for the oil to drain down - just like in all of my other vehicles ['68 VW Type III, '68 VW Type I, '79 VW Scirroco, '89 Honda Civic Si, and '99 Ford F150].
Have you tried the dipstick from someone elses S2000 in yours? If that's not it, since the problem is really bad, I'd take it to the dealer to have them make sure everything is aligned properly.

Take it to the dealer? HAHA! If parts arent falling off the car and it is Hondas fault they wont touch it. HONDA SUX! I will never own another junky Honda as long as I live. Their service sux almost as much as their cars do.

I tend to agree with Gernby. I have only had good experiences with my Honda dealer. If you are having an issues with yours maybe its not the dealer but it might be you. Just a thought. By the way how hard can it be to check the oil? Have it on a level surface, if hot wait a few minutes to let the oil drain back down, pull the dip stick wipe it off put it back in the hole pull it back out an look at it. Damn its not rocket science.

Maybe I should try another dealer because they seem to not care for their customers very well. I don't appreciate the rudeness from some of you without even knowing me. I have had a bad experience with this car and my dealer which says nothing about me. Many of you s2k owners remind me of Vette owners. Stuck up!
I am quite aware of how to check the oil. Considering I went to school to work on aircraft, worked on cars for three years, and currently custom build hardcore 4x4s in my spare time I think I know what I am doing. There is obviously something wrong with mine. I checked on a friends s2k today and he checked mine. Totally different experience and he agreed that mine wasn't right.

Freakaccident,
I guess you solved your problem then. I guess this thread served its purpose, and you have proved to yourself that checking the oil on this car does NOT suck, as previously thought.
You should realize that we were not being rude, just unsympathetic to your whining, despite our suggestions.
