You only need one, and it comes with a basic diagram. You will need to determine the connections that need to be made at the ECU using a Helm's manual. I recommend installing it inside the cabin at the ECU, so that the OEM O2 sensor harness doesn't have to be messed with.

That is probably not true. I noticed a significant drop in fuel economy before I installed my O2 simulator. I have also read that the ECU continues trying to fix the problem (improve catalytic efficiency by heating up the cat with extra fuel). It would also prevent you from knowing about future CEL codes.

I really think the CEL affects performance cause ever since I put my testpipe, my et has dropped a good 4/10s ... 13.9 vs 14.4/14.5's I aslo changed wheels/tires and thought it was traction but i cut the similar 60' times so it couldn;t have been.

who knows.

can you install the simulator without cutting into the wiring harness?

Thanks for all your input. I am still driving it with the light on and since I have I can tell I'm getting worse gas mileage. I am still not sure the best route to go, but I may look into the o2 sim.

Well, the "best" route is to get an aftermarket ECU that ignores the 2nd O2 sensor. However, the most practical and equally effective route is to get the simulator.
