Check Engine Light came on...
Yesterday, I was heading to work with the top down on a great looking weather...so it seems. 2-3 blocks away from my work place it started to rain. Came to the red light and was rolling about 2-3 MPH before a full stop, when I begun to lift up my hand-brake to put the top up. Thought nothing of it but by the next signal I'd noticed my CEL came on. It didn't flash or anything, and I have yet to get it checked out. Just need some helps in case some other owners have had the same problem. Putting the top up at a roll..could that cause it?

You shouldn't be asking what might be wrong. Noone can accurately guess what might be happening. Your ebrake application to raise the top has nothing to do with the CEL. Your only recourse is to have the ECU scanned and retrieve the code. Only then can anyone begin to help you.

That's what I'm afraid to hear. I thought the two were somehow integrated. I'll get it check as soon as I have the time. I do have a S/C installed 3 months ago. But no CEL has ever came on. I'll troubleshoot it once some time are freed....Thanks anyways fellas!

This could have everything to do with it or it could have nothing to do with it. I have dealt with about 1/2 dozen Comptech supercharged cars in the past couple of years. Virtually all of them had a code for MAP sensor. NONE were the MAP sensor. It was pertaining to the crappy wiring connection job on the ESM to the ECU. And it always happened several months down the road. Going in there and soldering ALL the connections resolved ALL of these cars permanently (at least I have never heard of any problems from them yet).
