^^^^ what he said. He said it was an 02 sensor and I told him about the car wash, so he cleared it and didnt charge me. Just said to come back if it comes on again. What a relief! I hate car problems...
How much does an 02 sensor cost? He said a replacement would be $100-300 bucks. Would it be cheaper to buy it myself and have him install it if it were to become an issue? I'm thinking positive and that it was a one time thing from the car wash.
Thanks for all the replies

I haven't done one on a S2000, but O[sub]2[/sub] sensors usually aren't that hard to change. You can borrow an O[sub]2[/sub] sensor tool from a parts store and get under the car. Pull the old one, apply included anti-seize, install to correct torque, and connect and secure the wire hardness.

^This. Pull the fuse to clear the CEL and keep an eye on it. More than likely it will disappear. If the CEL comes back, get the code scanned to make sure the diagnosis is correct. If it needs fixing, you can probably do it yourself (probably a DIY on here somewhere) or even better, take it to Billman for an absolutely perfect job.
