nope there is no sort of seal. the spark plugs will have a metal washer on the bottom of them above the threads, make sure it doesn't fall off when you put the spark plug down the spark plug tube.

It would be nice to hear back from gt2690b on this one.

I think the root cause is likely dirty fuel injectors.

well.. 1) i just got back in town
2) i ordered some NGK spark plugs and the sent me some bosch ones.. hmmm...
3) ive never changed my air filter so im gonna do that too
4) wouldnt the codes that got pulled mention something about fuel injectors or no?


i still havent changed the plugs out hopefully ill have a chance to do it this week

I think there was a thread about a guy who had a really bad experience with bosch plugs breaking off pieces inside the engine, do a search

I'd go with OEM.

Modifry had a Bosch +4 come apart on him at the track. Cylinder head damage insued, and a hefty repair bill.

now sometimes when im idling my engine light blinks... what the heck does that mean?
