check engine 9 blinks

Thumbs up check engine 9 blinks
MY: 2002
MODS: none
miles: 30,000

check engine light is on. I got 9 blinks and a pause for the blinking code. I can't find which code this corresponds to? Please help

I saw 9 - 0 = p1456 - evaporative emisions

Is that what 9 blinks and a pause equals?

it was 9 long flashes then a longer pause and repeat.

I got an emissions test yesterday and the lady didnt tighten my cap all the way so maybe that is it.

If it is the gas cap, retighten it, and the CEL wont go off for a day or three.

I see you have an 02. You probably have the same issue as me and the rest of the world. 2002 has a TSB out about a faulty fuel filler neck. Search here for info and the temporary fix to avoid CEL.
