well, if the dealership says no, then i sure as hell wont give them the pleasure of taking my money to do it... i think i'll go to AutoHaus (a local speed shop)...
my next question is.. what is the cheapest (yet decent) aftermarket clutch for the S2K? and where can i find it? thanks

I've been very happy with the new stock clutch disk combined with a Mugen pressure plate. Get the stock disk from H and A accessories ( a website sponsor) and the PP is available from King Motorsports (also a website sponsor).
I know cdelena has experrimented with several setups from Star and ACT, neither performing well in the long run under performance driving conditions. Do a search for long threads on the subject.

Stock Honda '03 clutch disk + ACT pressure plate + comptech lightened flywheel seems to be working well for me.

"cheap clutch" might be an oxymoron once you figure in labor, though...
