What type of Chassis Reinforcements are availiable to purchase for the S2000?
From what I understand, they are:
Strut Tower Bars: Front and Rear
Cross Beam Bars (Xbraces): Front and Rear
Our S2000 already has a Rear Strut Tower Bars correct?
Which would be better? Spoon or Speed? Speed has lower pricing. I was considering Digrippa XBrace (sorry for spelling).. should I get that over Spoon?

we don't have struts.
available is the x-brace, stb (shock tower bar), upper rear brace, lower rear brace. honestly the x-brace does the most, stb very little and the other two braces, not really much at all.
spoon vs. speed - that's up to you man. they are made in the same factory. we carry both. =)
the digrappa brace is nice. if you get in on a gb or get one used... its definately pretty!

we (sorry sig didn't come up) ---> www.importdevelopment.net
and if SoS sells strut bars, that's okay by me. its the same thing, just a misnomer, not a different part. but truthfully, we do not have struts - we have four shocks - thus, a shock tower brace.

Schatten is correct, the S2000 has a shockvs strut/McPherson style suspension. However, we list our products as the manufacture lists them. Both Spoon and Speed list the product has a "Strut Tower Brace" despite the semantics.
We have the x-brace, mid/cross-brace, and strut tower bar in stock.
All three are manufactured by Spoon. They even come in Spoon boxes, however, the Speed strut tower brace does not have the Spoon logo stamped in to the tower brackets.

So I get that there are 4 braces total?
Xbrace, Shock Tower Brace, Rear Lower braces, Rear Upper Braces.
So which brands are the best? If there is not a "best" brand (best being stiffness), then I think money should be the primary concern.
There are sooo many brand, I have no clue.
Thanks for the replies!

my advice - learn the car as much as you can first, then work on improving particular points of the car.
x-brace does the most, then the stb does a little extra. the rear braces, notta, zilch, but they look good!
doesn't matter which x-brace or stb either - they all do the same thing. its all about the difference of looks and what fits what. for instance, if you decide to go with a spoon stb... and later want a comptech cold air kit, you'll have to ditch the spoon stb and get a comptech stb. the comptech stb clears just about all of the cai's out there.

Alright,
say suppose I want to get a stb that has room for a super charger or turbo charger in the future, if I decide to get one. Comptech stb then? any other brand that has that clearance?
Thanks again!

I'll confirm in a few weeks what the vortech clears, but for right now.. the comptech stb clears the comptech sc and many (all that I know of) cai's out there. if you want one, send me a pm/email.

Rear Strut Tower Bar??? i had no idea there was something like this...where does this install? on the SoS site, it looks similar to the Front STB...
and where does the Comptech Clear Billet Lower Mid Brace install? would this brace be used primarily for looks? since its replacing something that's already there???
