Default changing spark plugs

ok i've just got a quick question so this should be an easy one for most everyone on here. I'm puttin in new spark plugs on the S and just wanted some guidance on how tight to put them in. I read on the denso website that you are supposed to turn then till they are about finger tight then to an quarter turn with the socket. does this sound about right or is there some other guide line I should go by?

Use 18 - 20 lbs/ft. The old factory setting was not tight enough and was much of the problem that caused loose plugs and grenaded engines.

Unless there is a specific reason you are changing your plugs then I would say to stick with OEM plugs.

If you must change brands then at LEAST make sure the gap is OEM. .044 .045

don't listen to any other advice so far, other than this post and SIIK2NR's post.

NEVER assume that plugs come gapped to the proper amount. ALWAYS check them before putting them.
BTW - 18 - 20 lb/ft is the CORRECT torque. If you want to play Russian Roulette, then go ahead and do the "finger tight" and 1/4 turn past. I am shocked that Denso would give such GOOFY information to the public. "Finger tight" means absolutely nothing. A guy with huge strong hands can nearly crush a spark plug washer with no help from tools. Then you want him to do another 1/4 turn?

15 lbs of torque IIRC
