Actually, you want to use 4.7 quarts Halvoline GF4 then add 15 oz VSOT, this will make a total 5.2 quarts, you don't want to over-filled. Don't forget to heat up the VSOT while you do the oil change so you can pour it in easier because it is very thick. Drive your car several miles as soon as you get VSOT in (after replaced the oil filler cap ), to mix it with engine oil in your crankcase.

Check for a UOA of Havoline (or VOA) to see if it already has a significant amount of moly already in it. You may not need any additive. I used Valvoline Maxlife 10W30 synthetic for awhile after the break-in oil and the UOA showed it still had 218 PPM moly. Although I haven't seen a UOA for it, I've heard that regular Maxlife has twice the amount of moly in it than their synthetic.
As far as switching to a synthetic before 10K miles goes, everyone has an opinion on that. So I won't recommend one over the other for now. But I will comment that from what I've read about SM/GF-4 conventional oils, there seems to be little to no difference in lubrication properties, so I don't know how much more wear-in you would benefit from with conventional if you are worried about it. If you are worried about it, find a quality SL/SJ rated conventional oil to use.
