Amsoil 10/30 ATM
Honda MTF 2
Amsoil 75/110 SG

You really cannot get much better than 10/30 Amsoil ATM for the motor. Owners manual states 10/30 or 5/40. For the diff the 75/110 is a better choice than the 75/90.

Why the Wix and not the OEM Honda filter, 15400-PCX-004? This is the only car for which Honda makes/contracts a unique filter, and I thought the consensus here was that it was the one to use.

I plan on changing all 3 as well. I'll be using Royal Purple for everything.

^I've heard royal purple is good stuff.

Thanks for all the responses guys. I did the oil today. Went with mobil 1 fully synthetic high mileage 10w30 with a m1 filter. Autozone had a special for 5 quarts and filter for $30. Everything feels great so far.

Hopefully the next two fluid changes will happen this coming week.

You should see the baring tests.

The H22 has rocker wear issues. Most believe this to be due to the low Zinc content in modern oils; Royal Purple is very high in Zinc. I've used it in my H22 for 35k miles, with nothing bad to say about it. I haven't inspected the rockers but the power is still their.

So I've done some searching around...called three different places and have gotten all different answers.

Looking to change engine oil, tranny, and diff fluid.
...and you expect this thread to finally reach some sort of consensus? You're just going to get more varying responses just like every other fluid thread.

There's a reason why every fluid thread has recommendations all over the place (personal preference). I use Amsoil all around with 10W30 ATM for the engine. The next person probably uses entirely different fluids.

Pick some fluids and if you're worried about your choice then get the used fluids analyzed.

Where did you hear that? I've heard the opposite -- that their products are all marketing and coloring. Have you checked out BITOG.com?

A consensus? Not at all. Simply just some recommendations which is what I was looking for.

I know my friend runs it in his LS1 and another guy in his 350z and I've heard general talk about it at the typical Friday night car meet. I do agree that some of it is marketing but that's business.

And no i haven't looked into that. Kind of funny since I go by Bob. I will now though. Thanks!
