I changed engine, diff and tranny the other day. I used Mobil 1 for engine and diff and Honda MTF for tranny. I didn't notice a difference at all unforetunately. I was hoping for some smoother shifting but the car drives fine anyway so overall, I could care less. It just gives me peace of mind knwoing that I'm taking care of the car. I think I'll try a different tranny fluid next time. My car has 42k on it now.

I also changed the tranny fluid, and like you I stayed with Honda MTF, and I did notice an immediate improvement - the minor annoying notichness was gone. I did mine around 10k as I recall.
