Default Changed my tranny/diff fluids

Hey guys,
I've got an SC'd 2001 with 32k miles on it and I changed the tranny and diff fluids. The tranny fluid was dark but nothing out of the ordinary. When I drained the differential there was quite a bit of metal shavings and stuff. The differential seems to be hold up and I did a series of left and right U turns to see if I heard or felt anything unusual...seems okay for the most part.
Anyone else notice this when draining the diff?

Cheers!

I had some of that but I definitely had some shavings the size of...hmm...I guess about the size of pencil eraser shavings (some even bigger).

These are the shavings I got after 1000 km. and a new gearset.
What diff oil are you using / going to use?

I'm using Motul and my shavings looked similar but I definitely had some bigger pieces mixed in there.

If you had larger pieces in there than what was in those pics, there could be some cause for concern. Unfortunately, without taking the diff out and apart to check it, there's not much more you can do other than "wait and see"
