and to sum this up wtf were you thinking going to jiffy lube?!??!!?!? they don't know jack about our cars and i would sooner let a five year old change my oil

Had you not of checked this yourself, you would not have driven very far. The bolt would have fallen out, and the oil would have subsequently puked out through the drain hole.

i work at jiffy lube and we get high performance cars in all the time. just the other day an nsx came in. i spent like 30 min talking to him totaly cool guy. also a tt supra 6spd has come in. tons of Vetts and all kinds of other cars. we rarely have problems with cars and especially problems with loose filters and plugs. mainly because a car doesnt leave our shop withought a quality inspection, meaning another person watches you go over everything. all the check/fill plugs drain plugs oil filter then checking for a gasket on the old filter and the oil level. same thing for all the caps under the hood. problems we run into is not washing the oil off of parts that it hit while the oil filter was draining.

all i can say is one jiffy lube doesnt speak for the rest of them.
