I changed my clutch just recently, from OEM to ACT heavy duty. The clutch engages instantly, and the feel is good when I let the pedal out. But when I press the pedal, almost 50% of the way down there is no ressistance. Is that right?... I have tried to bleed the clutch as I thought that was the reason, but there is no more air coming out. As I said in the beginning, the clutch seems to work perfectly (the few meters I've driven the car. Just in and out of the garage a couple of times)
Any input here?

This happened to my buddy when we bled his clutch fluid. We took it out for a quick spin around the neighborhood and the clutch came back to normal. Also, you may want to look into adjusting the clutch pedal https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...0&#entry5234269

If you opened the hydraulic system, you have air in it.
Unbolt the slave, point the bleeder straight up and open it. Gravity will push the air out.
Conventional bleeding of the clutch is near impossible.

For clutch fluid I can really recommend ATE SL.6 if you're using a stronger PP.
http://www.ate.de/generator/www/com/en/ate...-fluids_en.html
Nice & thin, it reduced pedal force, especially when the car is cold.
(it also made the ABS react a bit quicker - I think - we had more snow this year so lots of ABS, the pulsating in the pedal feels quicker)
Also, about bleeding / flushing the slave: I slowly pushed the piston ALL the way in with the bleeder open and closed the bleeder before letting the piston come out - also slowly (slave acts like a pump)
That way ALL the old fluid (sitting behind the piston) & air bubbles are forced out.
All with slave pointing upwards - like Billman said.
Just top-up the reservoir after every "pump" - or you can start again.
And use grease (neverseez) on the piston ball ends (both ends!) & fork cup.

Thanks guys. Bled the clutch like you said today, and it feels much better now! There is a tiny bit of slack at the beginning, but the original clutch was also like this. Can anyone confirm if this is normal or not?
