Default Chain Tensioner Arm

Hey guys, my brother owns a Honda S2000, now he's just found out that the tension arm for the cam chain needs replacing just wanted to know if any of you guys know anything about these motors, and is it easy enough for us to do it ourselves or best to leave it to a pro, he's been to Honda and asked them how its done seemed easy enough, but wondering if anyone has had any hands on experience with them cheers guys.

The "tension arm" is NOTHING like changing the camchain tensioner. To get the arm in and out, you will be taking apart quite a lot of the stuff covering the front of the engine.

Hey guys , think its just the chain tensioner, not the arm well he hopes, the symptoms are it sound a bit like a diesel engine on cold start up but when warm runs as normal anyone got any ideas, cheers Si.

As "stito" already said, the tensioner is easy enough to do. Won't hurt to go that route. It's a known issue.
