Default CF Mirror Problem

Out of nowhere, my CF mirror became loose. The part there the mirror connects to the base, there is this metal ball inside the base which allows you to adjust the mirror. It is loose now and on the highway it falls down. here is a pic of the metal ball and how the mirror gets on the highway

Any idea how i can tighten that?

remove the billet base that the ball is in and see if there is an adjustment screw on the bottom of it. Sometime there is a small allen key/screw that you can tighten and loosen.

Worst possible situation get some loc-tite and put a few drops on the ball, move the ball around alittle to spread the loc-tite around then center the mirror where you need it. That should hold pretty good.

I've seen them with an allen head set screw. It would require removing, drilling and tapping. Any machine shop could do it for you.

Are those craftsquare or apr? Reason being, the apr's already come with a small allen set screw in the locking nut.
