Central Locking (Seems common)
Hey all,
I've recently purchased my S2000 and currently loving it, however I have an issue with my central locking as it seems a lot of people have had but from what I've read I'm just getting confused so I thought I'd create my own thread for some clarity.
Basically my central locking on the fob does nothing by arm my alarm system at this point...what really confuses me is that when locking the drivers door with the key the passenger door stays unlocked, I then have to walk around and lock that with the key as well.
I have checked the fuses and they all seem fine but from what I'm read this is apparently very unlikely an actuator? if its not an actuator and its not a fuse I'm pretty stumped and I'm hoping someone might be able to shed some light as currently I'm not having much luck on my search.
appreciate your help all
Thanks

Can you electrically unlock the passenger side? Like double unlock using fob?
That would prove if solonoid, wiring, fuses etc are good.

Other functions? I've only got a lock and unlock button on mine.
The only thing I can do with that fob is turn my alarm on and make the hazard lights flash no lock or unlock.

Here is the sequence:
For all newer Hondas, open the drivers door. Insert the
key and turn it to on (position II). press the lock
button on one of the remotes. Turn the key off but not
all the way (position I) and then back on and press the
lock button on the remote again. Repeat this 3 times and
you should hear the door locks cycle on the third time.
After you hear it cycle press the lock button on all the
remotes that you want programmed to the car. After your
done turn the key off and test them out.
Hope this helps.

I dislike in general aftermarket alarms and remote starters for this reason. Something eventually always seems to go wrong, then its a pain to address.
Maybe best bet is to get a correct Honda fob, and get that programmed to car.

It's a Honda UK fitted alarm, I believe. Although that's all the help I can give really.
Mine has been playing up a little today in the rain, sometimes disarming the alarm but not unlocking the doors, rearming and disarming again seems to work, however. Something to try?
