Default CEL - Random Misfire Keeps coming back

So I picked up this car a month ago.

The same week I picked it up from the dealership the CEL comes on. I bring it back in and they told me the motor flooded with fuel...

So they cleared it and i'm off on my way. A week later it comes back on and I take it to my buddy to pull the code. He pulls misfires and random misfire codes. Pulled the plugs and they were toast. I replaced them with oem and gapped them to correct specs.

Everything is good for 2 weeks. CEL comes on again

I pulled the plugs and they look perfectly fine. Pulled the code again and same codes.

So Honda reccomends a valve adjustment. What else could it be and what else are common issues I could look at while i'm at it.

Thanks for the help

Check the DIY FAQ for the Misfire Troubleshooting guide.

have a look at your motor mounts.... I had a similar problem but i would get a cam sensor intermittant malfunction that = limp mode..

The worn mount was allowing metal to metal contact, causing the engine to vibrate on the chassis, wreaking havok on my sensors. have a look
