I started my car today after driving around a bit and the check engine light came on. I drove back to my side of town and went to advance to pull the code. On the drive the car seemed to appear as if functioning properly. I never got on it, but it never acted weird at idle or any other time during the drive home.

code was P0302/cylinder 2 misfire

car is an 03 with 105k
Recent maintenance: spark plugs changed at 95k(stock plugs)
Thats the only relevant maintenance I have done that I think could effect it

Mods: Password jdm intake, berk test pipe, hks exhaust

I havent had a chance to check the plugs yet because I thought I would get more refined information if I posted here and got feedback before trying to diagnose it myself. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance

update: Ive been digging around the maintenance threads and found some great info on the misfire cel. I began with lucas fuel system cleaner and a fresh tank of ethanol free gas. fingers crossed that the walmart gas was crap and problems are fixed. I also did the map whack and zip tie mod along with clearing my ecu correctly for the first time.

ok so after my fill up and ecu reset I had no cel for a few days. Just started my car and was pulling out got to the first stop sign and boom cel popped back on. Gas was down around 3-4 bars, the same as it was the first time the cel came on. I have read that others had the same problem and was wondering what your solutions were to this problem. thanks
