Update:

Been about 3 weeks since I replaced the TPS sensor itself and no more problems. Turns out I had to disconnect the wiring harness from the ecu and clean the pins on both sides and replace the TPS sensor.

Can you give a little DIY tutorial on how you cleanend the pins?
