Cel P1298,P0135,P0141
After some hard driving , trying to get home, my check engine came up..
I get codes P1298,P0135,P0141.
After some searching it was said that my ELD needs to be changed and/or wires were touching.
Took a look and one of my wires got hit by the alternator ( the connector that goes behind the stock air box)
I wrapped the exposed wire with electric tape to see if the codes would go away. They didnt.
I searched some more and the only thing I could find was that my "ELD" was bad or had gone bad.
ELD seems to be fine from what I can tell, Its not even a fuse, just a wire
Im under the hood and very frustrated . I hate electrical problems!!
Stock air box but some vacuum hoses arent there. I lost em during motor swap.
Can someone chime in with a remedy?
Btw fuse # 6 15A is fine and isnt blown. Is there another fuse that I should be looking for?

OK. Got it solved , I think.
For those who hit this snag by installing/removing intake box and hoses...
1. Make sure your lines are ziptied on and not hanging so that no wire gets hit by the belt thus ripping that wire and leaving it exposed.
If this happens more then likely you will have the cel lights mentioned above.
Make sure you check in the fuse box under the hood for fuse #6. If that is not blown go under the dash and make sure ACG fuse is replaced, 15 amp.
Then your cell should go away.
Hope this helps.
