CEL P0411 - My Curse
Hey everyone. It's crunch time for me to find a solution to my P0411 CEL, as I have to pass emissions in a 2.5 months. I got it about a year and a half ago after I money shifted my old engine and bought a new one. Ever since the new one was installed, I've had this code. My car has an AEM intake. I'm not very car savvy at all.
I've searched and read about a billion troubleshooting guides on this forum, specific to this CEL. My mechanic and I have tried putting the stock intake back on, checked hoses for leaks, checked wires for whatever you check wires for, and checked the air pump (even though it's not pulling the air pump code).
We took it into Dobbs Honda here in Tucson where they pulled up a TSB I think and had us replace the... "Air Control Solenoid Valve?" or... something like that. That was a long time ago, I don't remember. Regardless, that didn't fix the issue. They said it could then be another expensive part, and if that didn't work, then it could be the air pump. This is all kind of expensive!
Due to financial problems I didn't continue troubleshooting.
Yesterday I met with a local owner with no CEL and compared hoses. Everything looked the same.
At this point, I'm just going to ask you guys for direction, as I'm not entirely sure where to turn. I do know my local dealership does try to screw people, so I'd like to get an opinion outside of theirs. Here are some pictures of what I've got going.
I went over this diagram to see if my hoses were connected in the right places.
When I met up with my buddy, we noticed my car had this metal thing (also in the diagram) and his did not. I replaced it with hoses at the time to see if it would make a difference (as you can see above). It didn't.
So what do I do next?

I was in the same situation not too long ago. Very frustrating situation. Unbreakable6161 saved my ass. Eventually I found the culprit. The white thick wire from the air pump that leads to the "current sensor" below got unplugged from the terminal. That current sensor is located inside the driver side fender.
