CEL P0128
got a CEL:
p0128 Coolant Thermostat (Coolant Temperature Below Thermostat Regulating Temperature)
Thoght it was my radcap that was messed up, so i replaced it, old one had a bad seal..
If i look down in the radiator i can see the water "flowing" even if the car is cold!
Must be the thermostat!
Question: My car has been turboed before (not by me), i have heard that some people change the stat to a "colder" one, but my radiator flows even though its just started...
Seems strange that a car thats only done 18000 miles get the thermostat stuck.. thats why i suspect that the thermostat has been removed!
What you guys think? could the thermostat be removed completely if so is this common for people who want their turbocharged engines to run cooler?
Thanks

Only 1 way to find out if it's in there. You'll need to take it apart.
