The saga went on and on. The Honda dealer claimed the valves were adjusted incorrectly after changing the plugs and they adjusted the valves again. Naturally this did not fix the problem and the car still idled rough. When I complained that it wasn't fixed, they went off (slightly) saying that we didn't know what we were doing and that the car was idling rough because we adjusted the valved incorrectly. Naturally they ignored the fact that their mechanic did the same adjustment and it felt the same. Anyway they finally changed all four injectors and it seems to have fixed things.
I also had a buzz at exactly 3500 RPM that they said they could not hear! Damn, all you need to do is put it at 55 mph in 5th or 65 in 6th and you'll hear it. I had the tech riding around with me before he finally heard what I was complaining about. He said "where do you think it's coming from? Are you sure it's not wind noise?" Wind noise! WTF! I was sightly irritated and pointed right at the transmission and told him 'this is where it's coming from and it only started after you did the TSB-058." Sure enough, they found an exhaust manifold bracket that had been overtorqued and snapped. He had to drill it out and retap it. The sad part is that the dealer is the same company as our Acura store.... technically I'm an employee.....
